Demione Louis
My Role
A&R Strategy • Artist Development • Producer (“Still”) • Recording / Mix Engineering • Creative Sound Development
The Opportunity
Vibe was our third project together, built on a strategy that was already gaining traction. Previous singles were consistently reaching thousands of streams within the first several weeks and months, with a recurring goal of pushing key releases toward 100,000 streams.
The focus was to continue strengthening what was already working while helping Demione go deeper creatively. His identity as a Haitian-American Christian hip-hop artist remained central: faith-driven music with relatable bars, strong conviction, and ideas that could hit hard while still making listeners think.
Songs such as “Still” and “True Story” began revealing a deeper emotional and creative direction that would continue shaping his later work.
How I Contributed
My role centered on helping shape the sound, strategy, and overall development of the project while keeping Demione’s identity intact.
I:
- helped define and refine the project’s sound and creative direction
- provided ongoing A&R feedback throughout development
- gave input that helped shape song selection and sequencing
- supported production decisions and encouraged a move toward more original and exclusive production
- produced “Still”
- engineered vocals and helped improve the consistency and quality of recordings created outside of a fully treated studio environment
- helped maintain cohesion across the project while protecting Demione’s artistic identity
- encouraged a more visible social media strategy, including showing more personality and creating more video content
- helped him think beyond individual releases toward a broader artist-development and audience-growth strategy
The Result
Vibe became Demione’s first project released after signing with Estabrook Road Records and went on to surpass 1.5 million streams on Spotify.
The project also coincided with a broader shift in how Demione showed up online. By leaning more into short-form video, humor, personality-driven content, and a more visible public presence, he began creating additional audience and revenue opportunities through platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
The result was not only a stronger body of music, but a clearer and more multidimensional artist identity.
